Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal, located 1300mt altitude. This city is situated in the valley where other two major cities Patan and Bhaktapur are located nearby. The population of Kathmandu valley is approximately 3 million. The road, electricity, telephone, water supply and other physical facilities are well set up in both suburb and urban areas compare to other rural location of Nepal
However due to the post war and unemployment problems Kathmandu is getting rapid population migration from different parts of the country. So this makes Kathmandu quite chaotic.
This city is known as a City of Temple there are many medieval and ancient’s heritage site those were built in Lichchhabi, Malla and Shaha dynasty. We have been running our programs in rural and urban settings.
