 Since Hands for Help Nepal inception it has deployed more than 350 volunteer form different parts of world and successfully placed in various projects in Nepal. We believe in quality service and support to all participants who wish to render their valuable time to this country Nepal. We always concern with your program, placement, arrival, departure, safety, tours, meal, accommodation, health and more. We provide volunteers with the best service that our resource and knowledge could meet.
We divide our service in three parts such as Pre-placement, in-placement and post placement which will help you to complete your meaningful stay in Nepal. Pre-Placement service
 From corresponding phase we provide enough information about us, our projects and Nepal. We love to answer to your all questions within 24 hours or earlier if Nepali internet system favors us. Sometimes if your sponsor, school or family and friends want us to correspond about your program confirmation then we are more than glad to talk to them. After receiving your arrival confirmation we will come to pick you up at the airport on the exact date and time to avoid harassment from second party. Upon your arrival you will be placed in the hostel “Down Town” in Thamel, Kathmandu where you will get board complimentary and feel homely atmosphere. Thamel is a tourist hob where you will find people from different parts of the world so this place could be ideal for gradually adjustment with Nepal. Placing volunteer in same day at host family upon arrival might be enormously difficult to adjust with extremely new culture and society. For well preparation for placement and project we provide orientation during this phase. We provide you with conversational Nepali language course and necessary supplies what we have, cultural course which consists dos and dont in Nepal, clothing, bathing, laundry, host family adjustment etc. As per your committed project you will receive intensive course appropriate to length of volunteering. You will also receive general information about Nepal, personal safety, health issue, information about your project , tours and travel. During this phase you will also be involved in a tour to four most famous temples. Before moving to placement we help you to register your name, arrival and embankment to placement at your respective embassy or consulates in Kathmandu. If our staffs have a time and you need to buy bigger item like camera, I-pod, bag, cloths, boots etc then they will be ready to help you. In-placement Service
 After completion your orientation phase you will be escorted to your placement where you will be staying with a hospitable host family who have already served their service to previous volunteer. You will get a room and Nepali food two times a day, snack and two times tea. In project school principal, orphanage home staff member or health post in charge will concern about your stay. During this phase our placement coordinators are always in touch with you. During in-placement phase we concern more about your health, safety and project. All of our placements have mobile reception except some parts of Lamjung. Placement coordinators have 7/24 mobile phone so if there is any problematic situation appear then they immediately inform to head office to solve it. In some areas of Lamjung placement host family or placement coordinator will inform us through land line or web phone. If you want us to update about you to back home for your family and friends then we will email them twice a week or more. There is a supervision visit duing your placement for two times a month or more. We also forward speedily your message, post and parcel if we receive in head office. Post Placement Service
 After successfully completion your contract with us you will receive a certificate if you like to extend more volunteering then we will consider your request in a condition that post volunteering length have to be less than five months in a calendar year. After having farewell dinner with HFH staff you will be escorted to see of at the airport.
If you would like to organize a trek or other recreation activities then we will be please to help you. Our staff member or partner companies staff are experienced, professional who have already escorted numbers of people who have experience Nepal by organizing these trips. After leaving Nepal we will be in touch with you be updating your projects further progress conveying messages between you and your newly made Nepali friends and family but if you are unable to respond due to your own problem then unfortunately you wont be getting update. We know that career developers may need to add one more experience on their resume which helps them to enroll or join ideal job. You can list or forward us as a referee to your college or employer we will be more than happy to play this role. |
Service
